Johanna represents clients in actions against public authorities, including public law challenges through judicial review and civil claims for compensation. She works across the full range of cases in the Civil Liberties and Human Rights Department, including civil claims against the police and prisons arising out of unlawful arrest and detention, judicial review challenges to Home Office and Ministry of Justice decision-making, and national security cases in front of the Special Immigration Appeals Commission.
Prior to joining ITN Solicitors in 2023, Johanna worked in competition litigation at an international firm. Her background in large-scale disputes means she has particular experience with complex, document-heavy litigation.
